Glad you like it! I plan on it being multiplayer-only, with game server lobbies, upgrades, achievements, maps, and competitive game modes.
Should be a handful, but it's something I can definitely work on. Just gotta stay focused, which I've never been too good at.
My current plans are more toward matchmaking lobbies as seen in many console games than open lobbies. I do plan on certain game modes which may require one or the other, so they are both simultaneous possibilities. The basic game mode will simply be a wave-based survival mode, therefore matchmaking is the best option here. Other game modes could have difficulty-by-number-of-players style lobbies, etc, in which open lobbies are the best option.
Points will definitely be used, as well as ranks, and the possibility of character/weapon upgrades via earning in-game currency. Private servers/lobbies are also something I'm thinking about.
